This week you will discover how to create your signature. The following week you will then use your signature as a symbol of decoration and make modern art from it. At the end of the lesson there is a template that allows you to practice your signature. Print it out and practice for several hours until you get your signature to appear the way you want it. It will take time. Your signature is a legal document and it needs to be a symbol of how you think about yourself. It need not be readable, remember, it is a symbol. This is why when you need to sign a document it requires you to print here, then sign here.

Read the following lesson on how to create your own unique signature. You will be thinking about your own personal aesthetic in your approach to creating your name as a symbol of who you are. After you read the lesson, print out the work sheets to practice your signature at home. Make a photo of your final signature and send the image directly to ihs.db@yahoo.com be sure to list your name and class.
